Service Project Planning - Confirmation Promises (#4 Serve All People, Following the Example of Jesus)

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave

me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was

naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me,

I was in prison and you visited me. And the king will answer them,

‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are

members of my family, you did it to me’ .”

Planning: Small groups will be brainstorming ideas for a service project to do the following week. To provide a service, need or gift for someone or someplace in the community. They will need to figure out what they need as far as materials, supplies and/or financial means to make it happen.

What is Element: Element is ministry that has been created specifically for the 6th-8th graders in our churches!  Element is a joining of Confirmation and Jr High Fusion Youth: the best of both worlds.  Learning the elements of your faith in a fun and engaging space!  Bring a bible and a friend or two!

Our goal is to teach the 6th-8th graders to learn and experience the elements of a Christian life.  To believe, know and experience God, connect with others, serve others in love and live out our faith daily!

It is held at First Lutheran Church 6:30-8:00pm on wed nights.
